Through his Neurology residency, Dr. Chimakurthy gained expertise in diagnosing and managing neurological conditions. His specialization deepened during the Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute, refining his skills in intricate neurophysiological tests. Prior to his residency, he pursued an Epilepsy Research Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. During his fellowships training he is focused on evaluation and management of patients with seizure and drug resistant epilepsy with both medical and surgical treatment options.
Dr. Chimakurthy's expertise extends to evaluating patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including strokes, dementia, headaches, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders. Emily Moore is a certified registered nurse practitioner. She joined Decatur Morgan Neurology in 2017. She attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Acute Care Nursing School at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is married to Ryan and they have two boys. Emily enjoys watching SEC football, her son’s soccer games and working out at the gym.

Tracy is a Trinity native who graduated from The University of Alabama at Huntsville, where she met her husband. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing games, reading and exercising. Her favorite travel destinations are Bali, Indonesia and Gulf Shores, AL. Tracy has two dogs - one King Charles Spaniel and one Cavachon. She likes to play golf and watch the Auburn University football team.
